ABOUT PROJECT
WHAT ARE WE PLANNING TO DO?
Our campaign aims to provide 85 pairs of sport shoes to the orpanages in Kompleks Anak Yatim Darul Kifayah WP Labuan. Not just that, a complete sets of sport shoes including socks and shoes bag for the kids.
We have calculated the overall costs of this campaign. Here are the estimation of the expenses:
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Kompleks Anak Yatim Darul Kifayah MAIWP Labuan is an orphange house owned by the Labuan Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP). Darul Kifayah principal, Mr. Abd Fatah Hafiz said the complex was built to serve underprivileged students, Muslim converts and orphans.
There are 85 students are well taken care under this orphanage house since about 3 years ago. Providing shelter to orphans and asnaf (the poor and needy) from Sabah and Sarawak, the facility – which encompasses an area of 2.35 hectares and can accommodate 200 orphans – is equipped with hostels, sports courts, prayer rooms and a multipurpose hall.
However, the students are lacking of sport shoes. Most of them chose to wear their school shoes when doing activities such as playing football.
Shockingly, some of them not even wear any shoes to play football. They said barefoot is the only way to play football as they would like to take care of their school shoes.

Our team, consisting of several students from Labuan Faculty of International Finance, University Malaysia Sabah (Labuan International Campus) wants to do our part in the society. We are please to help sharing the love and support to them in chasing their dreams at the same time promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
APAKAH PERANCANGAN KAMI?
Kempen kami bertujuan untuk menyediakan 85 pasang kasut sukan kepada anak-anak yatim di Kompleks Anak Yatim Darul Kifayah WP Labuan. Bukan itu sahaja, set kasut sukan lengkap termasuk stoking dan beg kasut untuk mereka.
Kami telah mengira kos keseluruhan kempen ini. Berikut adalah anggaran perbelanjaan:
MENGAPA KAMI MAHU LAKUKAN KEMPEN INI?Kompleks Anak Yatim Darul Kifayah MAIWP Labuan adalah rumah anak-anak yatim yang dimiliki oleh Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan (MAIWP). Pengetua Darul Kifayah, Encik Abd Fatah Hafiz berkata kompleks itu dibina untuk berkhidmat kepada pelajar kurang bernasib baik, muallaf dan anak yatim piatu.
Terdapat 85 pelajar yang dijaga dengan baik di rumah yatim ini sejak kira-kira 3 tahun yang lalu. Menyediakan perlindungan kepada anak-anak yatim dan asnaf (golongan miskin dan memerlukan) dari Sabah dan Sarawak, kemudahan itu - yang merangkumi kawasan seluas 2.35 hektar dan dapat menampung 200 anak yatim - dilengkapi dengan asrama, gelanggang sukan, bilik doa dan dewan pelbagai guna.
Walau bagaimanapun, kebanyakan pelajar tidak mempunyai kasut sukan. Mereka memilih untuk memakai kasut sekolah apabila melakukan aktiviti seperti bermain bola sepak.
Apa yang lebih menyedihkan lagi, sesetengah daripada mereka tidak langung memakai kasut untuk bermain bola sepak. Mereka berkata berkaki ayam adalah satu-satunya cara untuk bermain bola sepak demi menjaga kasut sekolah mereka supaya dapat digunakan dengan lebih lama.

Pasukan kami terdiri daripada beberapa pelajar dari Fakulti Kewangan Antarabangsa Labuan, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (Kampus Antarabangsa Labuan) mahu mengambil kesempatan untuk melaksanakan hasrat kami untuk membantu masyarakat. Kami berharap dapat membantu mereka dengan memberikan sokongan dan kasih sayang kepada mereka demi keinginan mengejar impian mereka pada masa yang sama mempromosikan gaya hidup yang aktif dan sihat.
RISKS AND CHALLENGES
- The challenge would be to raise the complete amount of fund within the timeframe.
- There will be 85 pairs of sport shoes to be donated. Hence, measuring the sizes of the shoes to make sure it's perfectly fit to the students is very challenging.
- If funds raised from the crowdfunding platform does not reach the target set from the total expenses estimated, therefore, the donation for the shoes, socks and sports bag will be reduced to a lower quality of products for the orphanages.
- If funds raised from the crowdfunding platform reach more than the targeted funds, therefore, the donation for the shoes, socks and sports bag can be supported for each of the orphanages and will also ensure that more necessities can be donated towards the orphanages such as foods or bed sheets
- Mengumpul jumlah dana yang lengkap dalam jangka masa yang telah ditetapkan.
- Terdapat 85 pasang kasut sukan yang akan disumbangkan kepada meraka. Oleh itu, mengukur saiz kasut untuk memastikan ia sesuai dengan pelajar adalah sangat mencabar.
- Jika dana yang diperoleh daripada jumlah sasaran tidak mencapai sasaran yang ditetapkan dari jumlah perbelanjaan yang dianggarkan, maka sumbangan untuk kasut, stoking dan beg kasut sukan akan dikurangkan kepada kualiti produk yang lebih rendah untuk mereka.
- Oleh itu, jika dana yang diperoleh mencapai lebih daripada dana yang disasarkan, maka sumbangan untuk kasut, stoking dan beg kasut sukan dapat dibeli untuk setiap penuntut rumah anak yatim. Kami akan memastikan lebihan dana akan disumbangkan kepada mereka untuk keperluan lain seperti makanan atau cadar katil.
